Description

The purpose of this contract is to secure 3 years of service for maintenance on aspen fences already constructed within the Scott Able Wildfire area for aspen stand protection. This will require monthly maintenance to occur on each of the 12 exclosures from March through September for a total of 7 months annually for three years. This is approximately 3 to 4 miles of fence. To accomplish this, it is necessary to cut down trees that fall on the fence line and remove hazard trees that may fall on the existing fence line and maintain existing constructed fences. The government will only supply/furnish the Tenax C-Flex polyethylene net fencing material needed for fence maintenance. The contractor will furnish all other materials needed to maintain the aspen fences. These materials include 8? ?T? Metal Posts, 12 ? gage smooth twisted wire, 16 gage tie wire, staples, flagging, fence clips and any other material needed to maintain these 12 exclosures that can be purchased locally. All materials that are replaced will be removed and disposed of. This will be set aside for a small business. The New Mexico Gross Receipts Tax will apply. The service Contract Act will apply.
