- Description
- The Marine Corps Systems Command intends to negotiate a sole source, purchase order with Mabey Bridge and Shore, Inc. of Elkridge, MD 21075, for the purpose of providing technical support to Marines and Sailors of 1st Marine Expeditionary Force (I MEF), currently located in the country of Kuwait. The technical representatives will be on hand to provide training and technical advice to I MEF personnel on bridge design, load configurations, and containerization procedures that are specific to the Mabey Johnson Logistics Support Bridge (MJLB) assets that are currently part of the United States Marine Corps inventory. No RFP is available for competitive bidding; however, interested parties may submit a statement of capability for satisfying this requirement, to include descriptive literature and pricing, within 15 days of this announcement to the contact person listed above. (See Note 22; 45 days, as referenced in subject note, is reduced to 15 days.)
