- Description
- The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport, anticipates acquiring on a sole source basis, quantity twelve (12) Special Towed Array Interface Units (STAIU) from Mantech Systems Engineering Corporation, Hollywood, Fl. The resulting contract will also require the contractor to modify twelve (12) existing STAIUs to ruggedize them. The STAIUs were acquired under a previous contract as Engineering Development Models. Neither drawings nor adequate specifications were acquired at the time of development to allow for a competitive acquisition. The contract resulting from this acquisition will be of a Firm Fixed Price type. All interested offerors may submit a proposal, which will be considered. See note 22. NAICS: 335999.
