Description

The Contractor shall provide, unless otherwise specified, all labor, supervision, tools, materials, supplies, equipment and transportation as necessary to provide for the following work. The work includes construction of a one-story small arms range building including range equipment and incidental related work at the Naval Air Station Brunswick. The building consists of a shooting range and an administrative area. The shooting range portion will be constructed of poured concrete walls and floors. The administrative portion is concrete masonry unit walls and poured concrete floors. The roof throughout is prestressed concrete plank. In the shooting range portion, the roof plank will need inserts cast into the plank to allow for the support of range equipment. The range equipment to be provided and installed includes target tracks, target controls, baffles, bullet trap, safety ceiling, and range ventilation system. The estimated cost range is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. PROSPECTIVE CONTRACTORS MUST REGISTER IN THE CENTRAL CONTRACTORS REGISTERATION DATABASE PRIOR TO AWARD OF A CONTRACT. OFFERORS ARE FURTHER ADVISED THAT FAILURE TO REGISTER IN THE DOD CENTRAL REGISTRATION DATABASE MAY RENDER YOUR FIRM INELIGIBLE FOR AWARD. Registration can be accomplished on www.ccr.gov. The proposed contract is considered for a 100% HUB Zone set-aside. Interested HUB Zone concerns that meet the criteria must indicate their interest by submitting evidence of their capability to perform (three references with names, phone and contract numbers) within 15 days of this notice. If adequate interest is not received within the time specified, the contract will be issued as unrestricted subject to FAR 52.219-4, Notice of Price Evaluation Preference for HUB Zone Small Business Concerns. Replies to this notice are requested for NAICS Code 236210, Industrial Building Construction. Bids received from all responsible sources shall be considered. The response date shown is an estimated date. The Government intends to issue this solicitation through the use of the Internet. Notification of any changes to this solicitation (amendments) shall be made only on the Internet and the official Plan Holder's list will be maintained on, and can be printed from the Internet site. All prospective bidders must register as plan holders on the Internet EBS web site for this project. Each company must indicate it's name, address, phone number, and E-mail address; identify whether the firm is Prime, Sub or Supplier, and indicate whether firm is a Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business or Large Business or if firm is a Woman-owned Business. Plan Centers are also required to register. It is therefore the Contractor's responsibility to check the below listed address daily for any posted changes to solicitation's plans and specifications.
