- Description
- The Navy intends to issue a contract with or through Caterpillar Inc. for one voltage regulator training system for the Virginia Class Submarine Emergency Diesel Generator. The training system will energize the voltage regulator and provide fault indications as displayed in the tactical voltage regulator. Generator related faults will be initiated by an instructor. The training system will use panels mounted in a cabinet. The panels will include an actual tactical voltage regulator, Caterpillar P/N G54527 (must be this exact item); an instructor fault panel and a display panel for generator controls, voltage and current. Any company with the capabilities to provide this item are requested to identify themselves to the contract specialist, VIA EMAIL ONLY. Responses should provide supporting documentation demonstrating arragements with Caterpillar to obtain the required component.
