- Description
- This is a notice of intent to negotiate with the Bell-Boeing Joint Program Office on an other than full and open competitive basis for the procurement of MV-22 Acquisition Logistics Support (ALS) for FY04 and FY05. This effort continues the sustaining efforts necessary to support the management and administration of the MV-22 ALS program for two years. Support includes planning and management; support equipment; supply support; packaging, handling, storage and transportation of supplies; engineering support; industrial maintenance; reliability centered maintenance; and all other logisitics efforts, parts, equipment and services required to sustain the MV-22 support infrastructure. This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Bell-Boeing Joint Program Office is the designer, developer and sole producer of the V-22 aircraft, and is the only source with sufficient prerequisite knowledge and experience necessary to perform these efforts.
