- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command intends to issue a delivery order to Lockheed Martin Systems Integration, (LMSI) Owego, NY, under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-00-G-0231. LMSI Owego shall develop and test software to incorporate the Integrated Mechanical Diagnostic (IMD) Health and Usage Monitoring System (HUMS) into the MH-60R and MH-60S helicopters. Incorporation of IMD HUMS shall be accomplished by modifying the existing MH-60R/S Avionics Operational Program (AOP). Specific tasks include 1) Analyze the existing MH-60R/S AOP software to determine the best technical approach to incorporate the IMD HUMS 2) Implement MH-60R/S AOP software additions/modifications and revise existing MH-60R/S software technical documents to reflect addition of IMD HUMS and 3) Conduct software and system integration test to ensure compliance with system/software requirements. LMSI is uniquely qualified to perform this work due to their specific knowledge and expertise having developed (i.e., design, code and test) the MH-60R/S AOP software and software technical documents in accordance with FAR 6.302-1.
