Description

The contractor shall provide all equipment, tools, materials, personnel, supervision, transportation, supplies and services necessary to perform elevator and dumbwaiters maintenance and repair services. All work will be performed on Bolling AFB, DC. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 238290 and the corresponding SIC Code is 1796 with the size standard being $12.0 million. Basic performance period is 01 Oct 2003 through 30 Sep 2004 or soon thereafter, with four (4) one-year options. This is a competitive best-value solicitation in which competing offerors? past performance history is more important than price. This procurement is 100% SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS CONCERN. This solicitation will be distributed solely on the World Wide Web at the following address beginning on or after 02 Jul 2003: http://www.eps.gov. Closing date of this solicitation will be 30 calendar days after the issue date. NO PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL BE MAILED. Prospective offerors shall be trained/certified. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any proposal preparation costs. A site visit will be conducted. The schedule for the site visit will be listed in the RFP. CONTRACTOR SHALL REGISTER BY THE PROPOSAL DUE DATE IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR AWARD.
