- 311 HSW/YASK will be issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a one (1) year requirements contract with two (2) single one-year options for a Survival Kit Container. Survival Kit Container assembly is Sole-Source to H Koch and Sons of Anaheim, Ca, 92807 Noun: Survival Kit Container; NSN 1680-01-065-6644; P/N 025-750000-5; Size Dimensions: 16in X 18in X 17in; Form, Fit, and Function: A compact functionally integrated unit designed to provide air crew members with immediate available survival equipment; Predominate Material: Fiberglass with extrusion/hardware. First (1st) year best estimated quantity is 300ea. Second (2nd) year (option) best estimated quantity is 124ea. Third (3rd) year (option) best estimated quantity is 100ea. Total requirement BEQ is 524ea. Anticipate Initial Order to be approximately 171 ea to be issued shortly after requirements contract is issued. Anticipated award date is estimated to be after closing/response date of the solicitation 30 Jun 2003. As previously stated, acquisition will be processed in accordance with FAR 6.301-1/10 USC 2304(C)(1) "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements." "The drawings are proprietary to H. Koch and Sons." Note #22 applies. THIS MODIFICATION OF SYNOPSIS IS TO REVISE SOLICITATION ISSUE AND CLOSING DATES. SUBJECT SOLICITATION WILL BE ISSUED APPROXIMATELY 23 JUN 03 AND WILL CLOSE APPROXIMATELY 23 JUL 03. STATED DATES ARE APPROXIMATE AND MAY SLIGHTLY VARY BY ONLY A COUPLE OF DAYS.
