- This notice is to announce that this NSN will be solicited in the near future. This is not a Soliciation/Request for Proposal. The Soliciation/Request for Proposal will be forth coming and will be available via the DSCC Website address (URL) is http://dibbs.dscc.dla.mil/rfp/. The response date referenced above is estimated. Solicitation Issue date is on or about 6/30/03, with the Response date on or around 7/31/03. Note: Copies of this solicitation will only be available via the World Wide Web. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available. Purchase request number: IQC03153009005. NSN: 5945-01-142-9278. Nomenclature: Relay, Assembly. Government First Article Testing applies. There are no small business manufacturers waived for First Article Testing at this time. Those offerors not supplying the product of a waived source will be subject to the First Article Testing Requirements. The details and bid set related to the First Article Testing will be made available with the solicitation through the above mentioned website. An Indefinite Quantity Contract (365 days basic with four 365 day option periods) is anticipated. Total 5 year estimated quantity is 300 each. Various incremental quantities will be solicited. Deliveries will be to various DLA customers and/or stocking locations. FEDERAL, MILITARY AND COMMERCIAL SPECIFICATIONS CANNOT BE PROVIDED BY DSCC. While price is a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote, which shall be considered.
