- DTCG87-03-Q-643169 - Upgrade Fire Alarm System at the U. S. Coast Guard Aviation Support Facility Cordova, Alaska. Scope of work includes providing all materials, supplies, equipment, transportation and performing the labor to install a new fire alarm system in the barracks building, modify the electrical lighting control circuits in the hangar building and install conduits and wiring between the hangar and barracks buildings. Performance period for completion of all work, by no later than April 15, 2004, shall be scheduled so that the immediate work begins on the hangar building and work to the barracks building to begin after October 1, 2003. A firm-fixed-price contract will be awarded. The estimated project cost range is between $25,000 and $100,000 dollars. The industry standard NAICS code is #235310 and the applicable size standard is $11.5 million dollars in annual receipts for the past three years. This solicitation will not be issued in paper form. All relevant solicitation documents, including specifications and drawings may be accessed for download beginning on the date of issue (estimated to be on or about June 30, 2003) at the following site: http://www.eps.gov. Any amendments issued to the solicitation will be posted solely on this web site. Prospective quoters are responsible for checking the web site for amendments up to the date and time for receipt of quotes. The technical data package (drawings and specifications)will only be available through a link in FedBizOpps to the Federal Technical Data Solution (FEDTeDS)website. Firms must be currently registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR)database and FEDTeDS database to be able to access the technical data package, Firms not having the capability to download solicitation documents may refer to a list of printers available through the CEU Juneau web site at http://www.uscg.mil/mlcpac/ceujuneau. Printers on this list can download and print drawings and specifications and other solicitation documents for a fee. A planholders list will not be available for this project from CEU Juneau. Vendors are encouraged to register their interest by entering their information in the Interested Vendors List for this solicitation in FedBizOpps. Companies not having the capability to download solicitation documents may refer to a list of printers available through the CEU-Juneau web site at http://www.uscg.mil/mlcpac/ceujuneau. This procurement is a 100% small business set-aside pursuant to the Small Business Act, (15 U.S.C. 631). All responsible small business concerns may submit an offer which shall be considered by the U.S. Coast Guard.
