- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The USDA, Forest Service, Region 3, Lincoln National Forest, located in Southern New Mexico, plans to award a Firm Fixed Price Commercial Supply Contract for galvanized storage umbrella tanks. RFQ-R3-08-25-03 will be issued as a Request for Quotation. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-14. This will be an emergency supply order with one (1) line item. The line item will be unit of issue EACH. Line Item #1: 6' X 10' 3500 gallon galvanized storage with inverted umbrella top and wings. Sides 14 guage corrugated galv steel, bottom 12 guage flat steel. Top and 8' wings panel to be 16 guage. Water storage cannot exceed 1200 pounds. 1 1/2" x 1 1/2" x 1/8" angel braces at approximately 45 degrees from wing to tank. Tank to be riveted and soldered with 16 guage band around tank in order to weld 2" x 2" x 3/16 angel clips to attach wing braces to tank. Tank to have two (2) 1" #24 c&b bolt flange unions with neopreme gaskets one over flow and one outlet. 17" x 13 1/2 id screened hole for inlet, 2 washers, 1 3/4" strainer screen may be changed from outside top one 18" manhole with 2 hasps for locking 3/8" x 3/4" grade 5 bolts with nuts and lock washers. To be delivered to Mayhill, NM. PRICE PER EACH $_________________________, TOTAL QUANTITY OF 6 REQUIRED EQUALS A TOTAL PRICE OF $_______________________________. Pricing will be FOB Destination to Mayhill Admin site in New Mexico. The following clauses and provisions will be incorporated by reference for this solicitation; Provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors (Oct 2000) – Commercial, Offerors must include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications (Oct 2000)-- Commercial Items, with its offer, Clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions (Feb 2002) -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition, Clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders (May 2002) --Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition, Contractors will provides bids on the entire project. Payment for the awardee will be by Electronic Funds Transfers. The RFQ due date is June 13, 2003 at 1600. Quotes must be faxed in to Cesar Fausto, Contracting Specialist at 505-434-7218. Cesar may also be contacted at 505-434-7341 to answer any questions. The price range for this project is estimated to be under $100,000.00. This will be set aside for a small business with an NAICS code of 221310. These exact specifications must be followed. There will be no deviation from these specs.
