Description

This synopsis is restricted to authorized Sun Microsystems Government Service Providers. The United States Senate Office of the Sergeant at Arms (SAA), intends to purchase the following items 24 Sun Servers. All equipment and components must be new, not refurbished, with a Sun Three Year Global Warranty. All items shall be priced FOB-Destination, Manassas, Virginia. Delivery shall be 30 days after award. Each server shall contain the following: Description: Sun Fire V480 2 900 MHZ cu4gb 2-36gb Part Number A37-WSPF2-04GQB Quantity 1; Description OPT INT PCI UltraSCSI DIFF CRD Part Number X6541A Quantity 1; Description 145GB A 1000 Rackmountable Part NumberSG-XARY171A-145G Quantity 1; Description OPT INT DISK 36.4GB/10K USCSI Part Number X5243A Quantity 2; North American/Asian Power Cord Part Number X311L Quantity 2. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and must be provided on the ?SAA RFP Quotation form? (see OFFERROR INSTRUCTIONS below). A written solicitation will not be issued. OFFERROR INSTRUCTIONS: Quotes must be submitted on the ?SAA RFP Quotation form?. Offerror shall submit requests for the ?SAA RFP Quotation form? via email to acquisitions@saa.senate.gov, the reference number is ?2003-R-038 Sun Servers?. The completed ?SAA RFP Quotation form? must be submitted electronically via email only to acquisitions@saa.senate.gov (no faxes or mail deliveries). The closing date is 20 June 2003 at 12:00 Noon EDT. The anticipated award date is 30 June 2003. NO ADDITIONAL OFFEROR INFORMATION OTHER THAN THE COMPLETED ?SAA RFP QUOTATION FORM? IS REQUESTED OR WILL BE CONSIDERED. It is the Offeror's responsibility to monitor this site for release of solicitation amendments (if any). All information is provided in this notice.
