- NA Requirements type contract for meals, lodging and transportation for applicants processing through the Omaha Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS) during the base period of 1 Aug 2003 through 31 Jul 2004 with four option periods. Services are for a supper meal, overnight lodging, breakfast the next morning and transportation to the MEPS. It is estimated that there will be 4750 applicants processing yearly. The number of applicants daily will possibly reach 75 maximum, but average 19 applicants dai ly. This contract will be awarded on a Best Value basis using the tradeoff source selection process. The appropriate NAICS code is 721110 with a size standard of $6M. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which will be considered. The solicita tion will be posted on the Fort Knox hompage website at: http://knox-www.army.mil/garrison/doc/contracting_opportunities.htm on or about 12 June 2003. No paper copies of the solicitation will be issued. All amendments to the solicitation will be likewis e posted to this website. Contractors are cautioned to check this website for amendments. No solicitation mailing list will be compiled.
