- Presolicitation Solicitation Notice: Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, tools, etc, required to perform the work items included in the Bid Schedule to maintain and repair existing roofs and to construct new roofs on Elmendorf AFB and Ft. Richardson, Alaska. The work areas are: all base post roofs except where noted otherwise. The work items include, but not limited to: remove existing built-up roof system, asbestos removal, new 4 ply modified built-up roof system, new fluid-applied elastomeric roof system, new metal roof panels, new 2 ply with flood coat, and others. Magnitude including the base year and two options is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00 Performance period is 365 calendar days for base year and 365 calendar days for each option, if exercised. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. The solicitation portion and any amendments will be available at www.fedbizopss.gov Specifications and drawings will be available on CD-ROM only. There is no cost for the package. There is a limited supply and will be given out on a first come first serve basis until supply is exhausted. (Only one package per company.) Packages will be sent upon written request. Request shall include the business name, mailing address, phone number, fax number and size of business. This project is open to both large and small business and is under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. A subcontracting plan shall be required for Large Businesses.
