- Solicitation/Synopsis: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested and A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This solicitation reference number F48608-03-Q0017 is hereby issued as a Request for Quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-14, effective 22 May 2003. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 811310, Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance, with a size standard of $6,000,000.00 and the Standard Industrial Classification Number is 7699. Procedures are full and open competition. All responsible sources may submit a quotation. THIS IS A BRAND NAME REQUISITION AS PRESCRIBED IN FAR SUBPART 6.302-1(c) The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). 90 CONS/LGCAS, F.E. Warren AFB, WY has a requirement to Upgrade Existing Crane Electrical System. This project consists of electrical work related to the upgrade of two existing 40-ton Orley Meyer cranes electrical system. A complete Statement of Work can be obtained by sending a written request to kevin.searles@warren.af.mil. NOTE: Additional work is specified within this Statement of Work. The provision at 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition in accordance with these specifications. The provision at 52.212-2, Evaluations -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition in accordance with these specifications. Offers shall include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, with its offer. The clause FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. No addenda apply. The clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition are (b) 12, 15, 21, 24, 26 and (c) 1 and 2. The following clauses are also applicable to this acquisition: DFARS 25.212-7001 - Buy American Act and Balance of Programs (41 U.S.C. 10, E.O. 10502) (Over $10,000), and 25.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration.
