- Description
- Construct project work as specified in the designs and specifications for the purposed of restoring wetland conditions and enhancing habitat of a wetland restoration program site in Jefferson County, Wisconsin. Major items of work include: construct one earthen dike, reinforce one earthen dike, fill 11,000 linear feet of ditches, remove 8 pumps, fill 9 concrete sumps, install 4 water control structures with anti seep collars and seed disturbed areas. Approximate quantities are: 21,600 CY stripping, 80,500 CY earthfill, 1,600 CY excavation, removal of 8 pumps, filing 9 concrete sumps, excavating two spillways, installing 4 water control structures with anti seep collars, and 8 acres seeding. Dewatering of site may be necessary. Range of cost is $250,000 to $500,000. All responsible bidders can obtain a solicitation through fedbizopps.gov. Interested parties are invited to attend a site showing on July 8, 2003. The site showing will begin at 10AM in the conference room UW Extension conference room, located at 864 Collins Road, Jefferson, WI. For directions call that location at 920-674-7295. After a brief meeting concerning the bidding process and contract requirements, the group will leave for a tour of the work site.
