- Fixed wing fire detection flight services for the Umpqua National Forest on a call-when-needed basis for the summer and fall wildfire season, 2003; Light high-wing aircraft with four place seating capacity; Contractor must be FAR 135 certified; Pilots must be USDA/USDOI Qualified; Flights originate out of Cottage Grove or Roseburg, OR; Principal usage will be for reconnaissance over mountainous terrain; Additional usage for personnel or freight transport; This is an indefinite quantity type contract for an estimated 100 flight hours; The amount of work shown is estimated only; The minimum is $30,000 and the maximum is $100,000 for one season of work; This project includes terms for two additional option periods covering 2004 and 2005; Offerors are required to complete a Questionnaire regarding proposed aircraft and pilot qualifications and past performance history; Award evaluation criteria include equipment and personnel capability, past performance history and price; NAICS 481219; The solicitation package will be posted to this FBO web site; Hard copies of the solicitation will not be provided.
