- (i) "This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposal are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued." (ii) Solicitation No. SMN00030189 herein is cited as an Invitation for Bids (IFB). The commercial items policies of FAR Part 12 will be used in conjunction with the simplified acquisition procedures of FAR Part 13. (iii) Solicitation document and incorporated provision and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-20. (iv) This acquisition is a small business set-aside. NACIA Code: 42139 , Small Business Size Standard: 500 employees . (v) (Description) Aggregate Base Course, Grading D, Delivered, (Quantity) 10,000 ton, (Unit Price) $ , (Total Bid Amount) $ . (vi) Item Description: Aggregate Base Course, Grading D, shall conform to FP-96, Section 703, Aggregate, Subsection 703.05, Subbase, Base, and Surface Course Aggregate and Table 703-2, Grading D, (Base). Measurement and payment shall be in accordance with (iaw) Section 109, Measurement and Payment. (vii) All delivery shall be completed within 30 calendar days after date of contract award. Acceptance shall be iaw FP-96, Section 106, Acceptance of Work. Deliver FOB destination to Projects N5080, N5081, and N5085 located west of NMSH 371 and east of Burnham Chapter House, Burnham, New Mexico. Delivery areas are within a 20 miles radius east (N5080) and southeast (N5081 & N5085) of Burnham Chapter House, Burnham, New Mexico on the Navajo Nation. (viii) FAR Clause 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commerical Items (including any addenda), applies to this acquisition. (ix) Award will be made at a fair and reasonable price to the responsive and responsible bidder whose bid conforming to the requirements herein will be the most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. (x) Bidders shall include with their bid a completed copy of FAR Clause 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items. (xi) FAR Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items (including any addenda), applies to this acquisition. (xii) FAR Clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
