- DUE TO A DELAY IN POSTING THE RFP, THE RESPONSE DATE HAS BEEN EXTENDED UNTIL 10 JAN 2003. FIRST ARTICLE REQUIRED FOR THIS ACQUISITION: This is a notice of intent that WR-ALC anticipates issuing a firm fixed priced 3 year requirements contract for ITEM: Hydraulic Tripod Jack, 35 Ton, PART NUMBER: 53D22046, NSN: 1730-00-571-1139RN, BEQ QUANTITY: 35 EACH for basic year, 35 EACH for first option year, 35 EACH for second option year, Test Plan required in support of Hydraulic Tripod Jack, 35 Ton IAW DD1423; Test Report required in support of Hydraulic Tripod Jack, 35 Ton IAW DD1423, First Article to become part of the production quantity, DRAWINGS WILL BE AVAILABLE WITH THE REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS ON 18 NOV 2002(drawings and official RFP solicitation will be added as an attachment to this synopsis on that date), DELIVERY REQUIRED FOR TEST REPORT(S) AND FIRST ARTICLE: 28 FEB 2003, DELIVERY REQUIRED FOR FIRST 35 REQUIRED ITEMS: 31 MAY 2003**** THIS IS A PRE-SOLICATION ONLY. All proposals received within the thirty days after issuance of solicitation, or 45 days after the publication date of this synopsis will be considered. Issuance of the RFP will not be delayed to review requests from non-Memorandum Of Understanding (MOU) country sources. Nothing in this notice contradicts other restriction, identified in the synopsis notice or solicitation, regarding eligible sources (e.g. if this is a small-business set-a-side, foreign sources may not participate as potential prime contractors but could, if otherwise eligible, participate as subcontractors).
