- Description
- A sources sought is being requested by the U.S. EPA Region 9 (San Francisco)for a Mobile Command Post for Emergency Response. The vehicle will be used for EPA readiness capability to respond to hazardous chemicals and oil spills, fires or explosion hazards that threaten public health and the environment. The vehicle shall include but not be limited to communication capability, internal computer network with satellite connection, Internet, equipment to include printer, fax machine, camera for surveying the incident scene, radios and a meteorlogical station. The Mobile Command Post design shall include an environment with small meeting areas that can be used for compiling data, calibrating response equipment and developing incident-specific actions plans. In addition, the mobile command post should be equipped with a sink, refrigerator, microwave, water dispenser and bathroom.
