- Description
- The work includes, but is not limited to, demolition and removal of all structures above and below grade including utilities on the site and any incidental related work to the Demolition of buildings 107, 1299, 347, 430, 153, and 299. Site is to be restored as turf. One building contains an oil water separator to be demolished. Work includes demo of asbestos floor tile, asbestos mastic, and lead based paint. The solicitation will consist of a base bid and one option. Option can be exercised anytime within 120 days of award. WORK ON THIS PROJECT WILL BE DELAYED AND NOT ALLOWED TO START BEFORE OCTOBER 1, 2003. The time for completion is 180 calendar days. The cost range is $100,000 to $250,000. The Sic code for this project is 237990 the size standard is $28,500,000. This project is advertised on an unrestricted basis. In accordance with FAR 5.102(a)(7), the solicitation will be available for download free of charge via the Internet World Wide Web at http://esol.navfac.navy.mil (website). Hard copies (paper sets) of CD-ROM of solicitation WILL NOT be provided by the Government. This solicitation is available in electronic format only. All documents will be in the Adobe Acrobat PDF file format. The free Acrobat Reader, required to view the PDF files, can be downloaded from the website. The official plan holders list will be maintained on and can be printed from the website.--Plan holders lists WILL NOT be faxed and will only be available from the website. Registering offerors and plan rooms must provide a complete name, complete mailing address and area code and phone number, offeror type (prime contractor, subcontractor, supplier or plan room), e-mail address and size (large business, small business, small disadvantaged business, women owned small business or other).--NOTIFICATION OF ANY CHANGES (AMENDMENTS) TO THE SOLICITATION WILL BE MADE ONLY ON THE INTERNET.--IT WILL BE THE CONTRACTOR'S RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK THE WEBSITE FOR ANY POSTED CHANGES. In accordance with DFAR 252.204-7004 all firms must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) prior to any award of a contract. All bid forms, bid bonds, and other normal documents required for the bid submittal shall be submitted in paper format. Electronic format for the bid submittal documents WILL NOT be allowed.
