- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command, Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Johns Hopkins University, Applied Physics Laboratory, 11100 Johns Hopkins Road, Laurel, MD 20723 for the procurement of Wrap Around Simulation Program (WASP) software and hardware, and associated technical data, to support real-time simulation of an HDTV sensor to support the development and test of a sensor fusion capability for future combat systems. JHU/APL is the sole designer and developer of the WASP software and hardware, and is the only firm that possesses the unique experience, proprietary data, and special technical skills to perform this effort within the required timeframe.
