- NA The government intends to award a firm fixed price contract for the procurement of 105 each, 81mm m252 Mortar Barrel Forgings in accordance with Drawing 11580046, Revision New, marked up dated 31 Jan 2002. The procurement will include a 100% quantity opti on. The option will be evaluated at time of award; the option will be contingent upon receipt of funding. First Article Testing will be required. FOB is Watervliet Arsenal, Watervliet, New York. The approximate issue date is 13 Jun 03 with offers due 15 days from issue. The government intends to issue this solicitation by posting it on the Internet; hard copies of the solicitation will not be distributed. The websites for viewing/downloading this solicitation http://www.fedbizopps.gov (the FedBizOpps) a nd https://ams16.redstone.army.mil/asfi (the Army Single Face to Industry). Notification of any changes to this solicitation (such as amendments) shall be made only on the Internet. Therefore, it is the contractor's responsibility to check these sites da ily for any posted changes to this solicitation. Please note that all vendors must be registered in the Central Contractor's Registration (CCR) in order to receive a DOD contract. The technical data package for this solicitation contains information that has been designated as Militarily Critical Technical Data. Only businesses that have been certified by the Department of Defense, United States/Canada Joint Certification Office may obtain a copy of this tech data. To obtain certification, call the DLIS at 800-353-3572 or go online at http://www/dlis.mil/jcp/. Once your are certified, you may request a copy of the tech data by emailing Mrs. Margaret L. Vols at volsm@osc.army.mil. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. The proposed contract is unrestricted. The North American Industry Classification for this requirement is 332995, 500 employees. See numbered note 8.
