- Intra-Alaskan passenger air transportation services with all aircraft utilized being contractor furnished, IFR-equipped, multi-engine aircraft with pressurized cabin and being capable of accommodating fifteen passengers with a net baggage capability of 1,125 pounds. Aircraft must be able to land on/take-off from a 3,500-foot gravel runway. This requirement is for an estimated 44,928 Great Circle Statute Miles for the base year and each of four 12-month option periods with performance beginning 1 October 2003 and includes a "not to exceed" six-month performance extension as authorized by FAR 52.217-8. Date for receipt of offers will be on or about 27 July 2003. To be awarded a contract under this solicitation, prospective offerors must satisfy all DOD Commercial Air Carrier Quality and Safety requirements as described in 32 CFR, Part 861.3 and DOD Additional Standards for Contract Passenger Operations under Part 135.
