- MODIFICATION 1: The Department of State is looking for a vendor to teach the course to our Fire Protection Officers so that they may pass a certification required by their job. Fifteen officers will take the course. ALL OR NONE. MUST MEET ALL SPECIFICATIONS. SPECIFICATIONS REQUIRED. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: June 23 through 27, 2003. NAICS: 922160 Hazardous Materials Inspection Certification Provide personal services for a 5 day, 40 hr course of Instruction to be certified in Hazardous Materials First Responder Awareness and Fire Inspector I in accordance with the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standard 1031. The five day course must provide an in depth reveiw of the job performance requirements (JPRs) of NFPA 1031, Standards for Professional Qualifications for Fire Inspector and Plan Examiner. Included in the course must be a final examination for each participant to be certified from the Maryland Fire service Personnel Qualifications Board (MFSPQB) and the National Board on Fire Service Professional Qualifications. Number of Students: 15ea.
