Description

ISSUE DATE: June 24, 2003. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision and disposal necessary to make various repairs to the Nix?s Mate Daybeacon in Boston Harbor, MA (Suffolk County). Work includes, but is not limited to, stabilizing perimeter granite block walls, providing clean fill for foundation stabilization, repairing and patching exterior concrete coating on daybeacon structure, exterior painting and incidental related work. NAICS code is 237990, with a size standard of $28.5M. Estimated cost range of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. Performance is estimated to be a total of 75 calendar days from receipt of Notice to Proceed. Proposal will be evaluated on the following factors: Historic Structure Restoration Experience, Technical Approach, and Price. Solicitation packages will be available on or about June 24, 2003, and may be accessed for download beginning on the date of issue at the following site: http://www.eps.gov. Any amendments issued will be posted on this web site. Solicitation documents are also available from RI Blueprint, 335 Webster Ave., Cranston, RI 02920. Fax your request for solicitation fee to RIBP at (401) 946-6550 and include credit card # and exp. date, along with solicitation number. RIBP accepts VISA, MasterCard, and American Express.
