Description

The Air Force Research Laboratory Munitions Directorate (AFRL/MN), Eglin AFB, FL, intends to solicit a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to Summit Instruments Inc., 2236 N Cleveland Massillon Rd., Akron, OH 44333 for: 1 each Cylindrical sealed 6 degree of freedom (DOF) kit with IRIG PCM output, battery power, health sensors, 3 accels, 3 rate gyros, and 40+/axis point calibration; 1 each Rangeable triaxial accelerometer axes with maximum +/- 40g range; 1 each Std bandwidth (greater than 50 Hz) rangeable triaxial rate gyros with maximum +/- 1200 degree/sec range; 1 each Multichannel 0.5W FM transmitter (2200 to 2299.5 MHz carrier) 1.5 Mb/sec; 1 each 65210A Programming adapter kit; 1 each RS485 to 65210A cable (1 foot); 1 each 65210A Activation Plug – Grounds power enable and self test (aux) pins; 1 each 65280A Battery charger; 1 each Shipping – Next Day Air. No equals will be accepted. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a quotation is being requested and a written request for quotation will not be issued. The reference number for this acquisition is F08630-03-M-0185. This solicitation has incorporated provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-09. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this acquisition is 334514. Please identify whether you are a small or large business based upon this NAICS; small business size standard: 500 employees.
