- The US Department of Energy National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) to repair a portion of 5th Street, extend 5th Street and re-pave existing parking areas all located within the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL). LLNL is located at 7000 East Avenue, Livermore, California, and is currently being managed and operated by the University of California. The road repair/extension project consists of site clearing and grubbing, extending an existing street and utilities (approximately 650 feet), repairing an existing road and sidewalks, installing new concrete sidewalk, curb and gutter and striping. This project is being set-aside for small business; the NAICS code for this procurement is 237310 with a size standard of $28.5 million. NNSA plans to issue the IFB within 30 days from the date of this notice. The estimated price range is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. A pre-bid site visit is being planned.
