Description
This is a REQUEST FOR INFORMATION. Reference ?Case Processing? when responding to this announcement. The Social Security Administration (SSA) Office of the Inspector General is attempting to identify vendors that are capable of providing a software application for allegation and case processing. The Agency is seeking sources that produce a software packages and/or solution that will meet the following requirements: 1) Allow for the creation of electronic allegation and case files, 2) Provide ability to store information on suspects related to allegations and cases, 3) Provide ability to store information on interviews related to allegations and cases, 4) Allow for management review of all data entered on allegations and cases, 5) Allow investigators to access, monitor, and track outstanding issues, 6) Allow for text fields that support scanned images, sound and video files, embedded spreadsheets, 7) Allow for the import and export of electronic files, 8) Provide the ability to create management information reports, 9) Provide the tracking of time and expenses by allegation and case, 10) Provide the ability to create standardized forms, 11) Provide the investigators with maximum mobility and the ability to work in the field using laptop computers, 12) Provide for an on-line help facility, 13) Compliancy with Section 508, 14) Provide a trial copy of software for 90 day test period, 15) Include product maintenance, 16) Provide the capability for input customization while retaining all history data, 17) Does not produce any measurable overhead or have a negative impact on network performance, 18) Maintain history dataset of all user/resource/group access, and 19) Allow for the addition of modules to create an enterprise wide system that can be used by OIG?s Investigative, Audit, Counsel and Executive Operations components to assist in the processing of their respective day-to-day workloads. Interested vendors must be able to provide verifiable proof by submitting information in sufficient detail to demonstrate their ability to meet the Agency?s requirement. Vendors responding should indicate whether their services are available on the GSA Federal Supply Schedules or any other Government Wide Agency Contract (GWAC). This is not a request for proposal and the Government does not intend to pay for information submitted. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation of the data received. No contract award will be made on the basis of responses received; however, this information will be used in SSA?s assessment of capable sources. Responses to this notice should be submitted electronically within 10 days of this publication. No Faxed responses. Requests for copies of a solicitation will not be honored or acknowledged. NO FORMAL SOLICITATION IS BEING ISSUED AT THIS TIME. ELECTRONIC RESPONSES ONLY, to the POC identified above.
