- Description
- The Department of Defense?s Business Management Modernization Program (BMMP) ? formerly the Financial Management Modernization Program (FMMP) ? will hold an Industry Day on June 25, 2003. This is the fourth in a series of Industry Days where BMMP will engage industry to provide information about strategies for the BMMP path ahead and introduce the Domains that will be responsible for the business transformation in their respective business areas in an effort to help equip the contractor community for robust competition at the appropriate time. This Industry Day will be held at the Crystal Gateway Marriott, 1700 Jefferson Davis Highway, Arlington, VA. Registration is from 7:30 - 8:30 AM, and the agenda will run from 8:30 AM ? 1:00 PM. The purpose of the event is to describe updates to the BMMP strategy, and then focus on describing the Domains and their roles in the business transformation. The Agenda will be posted when it becomes available, and will be e-mailed to those already registered at the time it is posted. There is no cost for attending Industry Day. Attendance is limited to the first 350 persons to register. Attendees must pre-register by downloading the separate registration form accompanying this notice, completing the registration form, and sending it to HQ-OSD-BMMP-INDUSTRYDAY@dfas.mil prior to 5:00 PM on Friday, June 20, 2003. Each registrant will receive a confirmation that contains their registration number. Each vendor is limited to three (3) attendees. Vendors are strongly encouraged to internally coordinate their proposed attendance list prior to registration; this will enable appropriate representation without exceeding the registration limit. If you are unable or do not wish to attend Industry Day, the Industry Day conference materials will be posted to http://www.dod.mil/comptroller/bmmp/pages/index.html by Monday, June 23, 2003. DO NOT MAKE REQUESTS FOR INFORMATION CONCERNING INDUSTRY DAY IV TO THE POINT OF CONTACT IDENTIFIED FOR THE FEDBIZOPS NOTICE. ALL INQUIRIES SHOULD BE MADE VIA EMAIL TO THE ADDRESS IDENTIFIED ON THE REGISTRATION FORM.
