Description
PLEASE NOTE: THE PRE-PROPOSAL MEETING DATE HAS BEEN CHANGED TO JUNE 17, 2003 AT 10:00 A.M. SAME LOCATION SOLICITATION PACKAGES WILL BE RELEASED ON JUNE 9, 2003 FROM THE BLUEPRINT COMPANY PROVIDED PREVIOUSLY. Provide all labor, supervision, materials, and equipment to furnish construction services to complete office expansion space for the U.S. Clerk of Courts. This project is being solicited under formal Source Selection procedures per FAR 15.304. Award will be made based on a combination of technical factors: Past Performance 60%/Key Personnel Experience 40% The estimated cost range of this project is One Hundred Seventy-Five Thousand Dollars to Two Hundred Twenty-Five Thousand Dollars. The subject solicitation includes Sensitive But Unclassified Building Information (SBU). For reasons of security and before release of SBU Information, the requestor must complete and sign a "Request for Sensitive But Unclassified Documents" (Form B). In addition, the following information must be submitted and/or provided by the requestor via the spaces provided in the notice: 1) Copy of business license; 2) Company's Dun & Bradstreet number (Obtain a DUNS number for free by calling (800) 333-0505); 3) Valid tax identification number. The notice can be obtained from and shall be submitted to the point of contact cited herein. No e-mail copies will be accepted. After verification of the preceding information, the requestor will be designated as an authorized user. The contracting officer's rep. will authorize the release of documents (specifications and drawings) to the requestor. Upon receipt of documents, the requestor must ensure that further distribution of the subject documents are preceded by the execution of the document security notice. This includes all subcontractors and suppliers. Upon receipt of plans and specifications, contractor shall familiarize themselves with the handling requirements for SBU documents and the disposal requirements for SBU documents. The Mail Document Security Notices can be forwarded to the GSA Contracting Officer's Rep, Tracy Smith via fax at (570) 558-3803. Upon approval, your company will be added to the list of approved bidders, which will be eligible to receive the drawings and specifications. GSA will then contact you when you have been approved or will ask you to provide additional information if necessary. Upon approval of eligibility, a check must be sent to the following blueprint company to obtain copies. A maximum fee of $50.00 will be requested for copies of drawings and specifications. The blueprint company will not forward the documents until the check has been received.
