Description

The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Puget Sound has a requirement for Q3 Minesweeper Cable Assembly (NSN 6150-01-440-3906)(QTY 1) and S3 Minesweeper Cable Assembly (NSN 6150-01-440-3907)(QTY 1) in support for the Taiwan Navy. Drawings will accompany solicitation. These cables are to be delivered FOB Destination to FISC Seal Beach Site, FMS Project Code L130 Bldg. 249, Attn: Taiwan Navy Program, 800 Seal Beach Blvd., Seal Beach, CA 90740. The required delivery date is 30 Sep 2003. This requirement will be solicited using the policies contained in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. The unrestricted solicitation will be issued on or about 09 June 2003, with offers due on or about 18 June 2003. All offerors wishing to submit an offer, are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFQ from this website (WinZIP or other unzipping software is required) and to frequently monitor that site for any amendments to the RFQ. Interested parties must utilize www.fedbizopps.gov and request an E-mail notification by clicking on the ?FedBizOpps Vendor? tab then ?Acquisition Notification service? then ?register to receive notification by solicitation number.? By registering with this service, you should receive notification as to when the solicitation has been uploaded to the NECO website. PLEASE NOTE: FISC PUGET SOUND DOES NOT GUARANTEE THIS NOTICE. OFFERORS ARE STILL RESPONSIBLE FOR DOWNLOADING THEIR OWN COPY OF THE SOLICITATION ON THE NECO WEBSITE. No telephone or fax requests for the RFQ package will be accepted. An email request to karen_l_barba@puget.fisc.navy.mil will be accepted only in the event of an offeror experiencing problems downloading the RFQ from the NECO website. No paper copies of the RFQ and/or amendments will be mailed. Failure to respond to electronically posted solicitations or quotes and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of proposals or quotes may render your proposal or quote nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same.
