- Description
- The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Puget Sound (FISCPS) is soliciting for a firm fixed price supply type contract to be negotiated on a sole source basis with Transistor Devices, Inc. for various module assemblies. Commander Naval Surface Forces Atlantic currently utilizes many such modules manufactured by the above-mentioned contractor in both inverters and chargers. Thus, due to compatibility issues, CNSL must procure additional modules from subject contractor. The following items will be purchased: TDI part numbers 508493, 508497, 508126, 508124, and 508501. Place of delivery is contractor?s facility in Cedar Knolls, NJ. Delivery approximately 200 days after date of award. The commercial solicitation will be issued on or about 11 June 2003 with a closing date of 13 June 2003. Per FAR 5.203(h), the solicitation closing date has been reduced to 8 days from this announcement. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. A determination by the Government to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Proposed contract to be procured using commercial Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 12. Electronic submission of proposals/quotes is not available at this time.
