- Description
- This is a notice of intent to negotiate with the Bell-Boeing Joint Venture Team, RADM William A. Moffet Building, Suite 150, 47123 Buse Road, Patuxent River, MD 20670-1547 on an other than full and open competitive basis for the acquisition of Cost Reduction Initiatives (CRI?s) for the model V-22 tiltrotor aircraft. The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) anticipates issuing modifications for 18 Engineering Change Proposals/CRI?s and related support to reduce the cost of the V-22 tiltrotor aircraft. Such support consists of administrative, financial and technical data reporting, program management, configuration management, sustaining engineering and software support. This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. The Bell-Boeing Team is the designer, developer and sole producer of the V-22 tiltrotor aircraft.
