- Description
- The Bureau of Reclamation, Upper Colorado Region has a requirement for dental services for the Collbran Job Corps, Collbran, Colorado. This requirement is being procured in accordance with Part 14 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation. The Bureau of Reclamation intends to issue an Invitation for Bid, and this solicitation is full and open. The Dental Services contract is to provide routine dental care for students one day, (8 hours) a week for up to 46 weeks a year for all students at the Collbran Job Corps Center. The Dental Services contract will consist of one Dentist (licensed dentist in good standing with the American Dental Association), one Dental Assistant, and one Dental Hygienist. The Contractor is required to perform Class II ADA examinations, and develop a treatment plan for each student, provide preventive dental health education which will promote good oral hygiene techniques (e.g., tooth brushing, flossing, and rinsing instruction). All employees providing dental care services must enjoy working with young people ages 16-24 years old of varying ethnic and socioeconomic background. Collbran Job Corps Center will provide facilities, equipment, and all supplies on this contract. The contractor is to provide quality services, timeliness, courtesy, perform and provide customer satisfaction. The contract is for a base year and 4 one-year options, and may be extended up to six months past the completion date (in accordance with FAR 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services. A site tour is scheduled for all interested parties (the date and time will be provided in the solicitation). The work will be performed under the North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) 62121. Department of the Interior has directed the use of Central Contractor Registration (CCR) as the single validated source on vendors doing business with the Government. Prospective vendors are encouraged to register in CCR prior to the award of a contract.
