Description

The Upper Columbia Salmon Clearwater District, Coeur d'Alene Field Office, Bureau of Land Management (BLM), is acquiring services to treat natural forest fuels and logging slash. The "Treatment Area" is located on the Ninemile Timber Sale contract area. Logging operations were completed in February 2003. The services in this contract are designed to reduce fuel loading and prepare the treatment area for reforestation operations through slashing of brush, shrubs, & excess trees and piling slash resulting from this operation and logging operations. The contractor shall furnish all equipment, labor, supervision, transportation, operating supplies, and incidentals to perform all work necessary. The work will be performed on Bureau of Land Management lands on the Coeur d'Alene Field Office area. The project area is located approximately 3.5 miles north of Wallace, Idaho. Performance Period is 92 Calendar days. The solicitation will be issued on or about June 13, 2003.
