NA THE POC LISTED IN THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS RESPONSIBLE ONLY FOR SUBMISSION OF THE ANNOUNCEMENT. WRITTEN INQUIRIES OR COMMENTS REGARDING THIS ANNOUNCEMENT MAY BE FAXED TO 251-441-6510 ATTN: MRS. MICHELLE STRACENER, OR ADDRESSED TO: U.S. ARMY CORPS OF ENGINEE RS, MOBILE, ATTN: CESAM-CT-C, P.O. BOX 2288, MOBILE, AL 36628-0001. This is a notice of sole source intent by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile District to designate specific proprietary sources in a competitively bid contract solicitation for the accomplishment of varying relocation utility services. The Mobile District's contract will designate Cox Communications Gulf Coast LLC of Fort Walton Beach, FL to relocate their affected cable lines. The Mobile District's contract will designate Okaloosa Gas District of Valparaiso FL, to relocate their affected 4 inch PE pipe. This notice is not a request to be placed on a solicitation mailing list. It is in the best interest of the government to use the above contractors as they are the current source p roviders of the aforementioned utility services and this action will ensure a coordinated continuation of these services during the construction contract. This notice is in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(b)(3), for Other Than Full & Open Competition. Respon ses are required to be submitted by COB 24 Jun 2003. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency.
