- Description
- UPGRADE BROADCASTING CAMERA SYSTEM. The government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) and FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(i). The proposed source is Sony Electronics, Incorporated, Itasca, IL. The items being procured are four (4) BVP950 12 Bit ADSP Camera Shells, four (4) CA570 Triax Camera Adapters, four (4) OHB730 520K ?IT? integrated imaging capsules, four (4) CCU550A Wide-band Camera Control Units, four (4) RCP750 remote Control Panels, four (4) BKP5972 SDI outpuy modules and one (1) MSU750 Master setup unit. This equipment is being integrated into pre- existing equipment, must meet cross compatibility issues and is an upgrade to existing components. This synopsis is being published for information purposes only. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, the government will consider any quotations received within 10 days of the issuance of this notice. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
