- Description
- Contractor shall provide all tools, labor, materials, and supervision to perform all work required for Project 679-03-103 =93Canopy Building 61 Dock=94 at the VA Medical Center, 3701 Loop Road E., Tuscaloosa, Alabama 35404 in accordance will plans and specifications. Work involves preparing site for building operations, including demolition, removal and replacement of existing earthwork and pavement, construction of canopy at the dock area of Building 61. The estimated dollar value of construction is between $25,000.00 and $100,00.00. Estimated solicitation issue date is June 24, 2003, with an estimated bid opening date of July 25, 2003. The National American Industry Classification system (NAICS) Code is 233320 and size standard of $28.5 million applies for this procurement. This procurement is subject to the availability of funds, and is restricted to businesses located within certified HubZone Areas. There will be a pre-bid walk through of the project, it=92s time and location will be addressed in the cover page of the solicitation. All solicitation packages will be available for downloading from the website listed in this announcement. NO HARD COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION WILL BE PROVIDED. However, drawings will be issued on a first come first serve basis. Only twenty-five (25) sets of drawings will be issued. All requests for drawings and/or questions regarding this solicitation must be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer (10N7/NLO), VA Medical Center, 3701 Loop Road E., Tuscaloosa, AL 35404 or via fax number (478) 274-5535. It is highly recommended that you complete the solicitation mailing list on the website before downloading the solicitation. Any amendments issued to this solicitation will be available ONLY at the website. Bidders are reminded that they are responsible for obtaining all amendments from the website.
