Description
This modification is to amend solicitation Number USSS030031 as follows: ALL WORK WIL BE PERFORMED AT THE USSS FACILITY IN THE LAUREL/BELTSVILLE AREA OF MARYLAND AND MUST BE COMPLETED BY AUGUST 1, 2003. The contractor must prioritize work on 50 Suburbans and deliver on a staggered schedule, NO LATER THAN ten (10) on June 26, 2003; ten (10) on July 3, 2003; ten( 10) on July 14, 2003; ten (10) on July 24, 2003; and ten (10) on August 1, 2003. It is the contractor?s responsibility to schedule ALL work in order to compete all installations by August 1, 2003. 48 Suburbans and (9) 300Ms will be available at the facility for installations from date of contract award through August 1, 2003. The remaining 50 Suburbans and 16 Concords are currently in service. It is the contractor?s responsibility to notify the USSS at least 5 work days prior to installation on the in-service vehicles, so that the USSS can make the vehicles available to the contractor. Lack of notification/coordination will not constitute an excusable delay. If performance is required on Saturday and Sunday, or weekday evening, the USSS will make the facility available. In addition to the bid information required in the solicitation, the contractor must also submit 2a) An alternate per vehicle unit cost for line Item 0001 through 0007, If the final completion date were September 1, 2003, and 5a) The contractor?s proposed schedule of work showing completion date at September 1, 2003.
