- This is a sources sought request for written information only. This is not a solicitation announcement for quotations, proposals or bids and no contract will be awarded from this announcement. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement and/or any follow-up information requests. No telephone calls requesting a solicitation will be accepted or acknowledged. There is no solicitation available at this time. The Department of Homeland Security, Bureau of Customs and Border Protection, El Paso Flight Operations is conducting market research to survey the marketplace for small business firms with the capability to provide any and all new parts, exchanges, overhaul and/or repair of parts for the maintenance of Government owned American Eurocopter AS350Bas and AS350B3 helicopters. The fleet currently consists of 17 helicopters with anticipated growth. Each helicopter flies approximately 1,000 hours per year. Source must be a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Part 145 Repair Station facility (if in United States) or Transport Canada Approved Maintenance Organization (TCAMO) approved Repair Station and an approved American Eurocopter Repair or Service Center. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 336412 and the small business size standard is $6 million/1,000 employees. Standard company brochures are not desired. Information shall focus on the capability to provide the needed supplies and services.
