Description

TREES 1) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; PROPOSALS ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. 2) Solicitation F65501-03-T-0032 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). 3) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-13. This solicitation is a 100% small business set-aside. The NAICS code is 444220, Size standard: $6,000,000. 5) ITEM DESCRIPTIONS: (B&B = Balled and Burlapped) L/I 0001: Colorado Blue Spruce (Picea Pungens) 4-5’ B&B, Qty: 40 Each; L/I 0002: Colorado Green Spruce (Picea Pungens) 4-5’ B&B, Qty: 40 Each; L/I 0003: Colorado Green Spruce (Picea Pungens) 6-7’ B&B, Qty: 20 Each; L/I 0004: Mayday (Prunus Radus “Commutata”) 3” caliper B&B, Qty: 5 Each; L/I 0005: Birch, Native White Paper (Betula Papyrifera) 10-12’, Qty: 40 Each; L/I 0006: Birch, Cut Leaf (Betula Pedula) 2-2 1/2” caliper 4-5’ B&B, Qty: 20 Each; L/I 0007: Mayday (Prunus Radus “Commutata”) 2-2 ˝” caliper B&B, Qty: 20 Each; L/I 0008: European Ash, 2” caliper, Qty: 10 Each; L/I 0009: Showy Ash, 2” caliper, Qty: 10 Each. 6) See number five. 7) DELIVERY: FOB DESTINATION to Elmendorf AFB, Alaska 99506. Delivery must be accomplished no later than 16 June 2003. Also, please include your delivery terms on your quotation. If you are unable to meet the requested delivery date please state your delivery date. 8) FAR 52.212-1 – Instructions to Offerors—Commercial, applies to this acquisition. 9) FAR 52.212-2 – Evaluation – Commercial Items. Award will be made based on the low price/technically acceptable offer. The government reserves the right to make award on the initial quote received without discussions. 10) Each offeror shall include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications--Commercial Items with Alternate 1 with the offer.
