Description

The Coast Guard Maintenance and Logistics Command Pacific intends to procure services for transportation and transportation related services related to the moving of personal and household goods. The NAICS Code is 484210 with an annual size standard of $21.5M. The Coast Guard intends to award multiple Indefinite Delivery, Firm-Fixed Price contracts for a one-year base period beginning March 01, 2003 and two option years. The contractor shall furnish services and materials for the preparation of personal property (including servicing of appliances) for movement or storage, drayage, and related services. Unless otherwise indicated in the Schedule, the Contractor shall: (1) Furnish all materials except Government owned containers (Federal Specification PPP B 580 or as specified in the schedule) all equipment, plant, and labor; and (2) Perform all work in accomplishing containerization of personal property for overseas or domestic movement or storage, including: stenciling, cooperage, drayage of personal property in connection with other services, de-containerization of inbound shipments of personal property, handling of shipments into and out of the contractor's facility. Excluded from the scope of this contract is the furnishing of like services or materials which are provided incident to complete movement or personal property when purchased through Government Bill of Lading, Transportation Acquisition System, or other method/mode or shipment or property to be moved under the "Do It Yourself" moving program or otherwise moved by the owner. The areas of performance for this contract are located within the greater San Francisco Bay area as follows: Area I: Counties of Alameda, Contra Costa, San Francisco, San Mateo, and Santa Clara, CA. Area II: Counties of Marin and Sonoma, CA. This procurement is 100% set-aside for small business. Past Performance and Price will be considered.
