Description

The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) intends to procure on a full and open competitive basis Case Administration System ? Development and Maintenance Team to provide re-engineering/developing services, sustaining engineering or maintenance services, and operational and production support services for a suite of approximately eight PBGC custom-designed software applications. The applications are two-tier client-server applications using Oracle 8i (or higher) for the database and stored procedures, and PowerBuilder 8.x for the client components. Corporate direction has been set to do future redesign as web-enabled applications, providing maintenance and production support of existing applications. The period of performance for the base year shall be from October 1, 2003 to September 30, 2004 with four one-year options for renewal. Telephone requests for this solicitation will NOT be honored. The solicitation document will be distributed through the FedBizOpps.Gov website. The site contains downloading instructions. All information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed through the FedBizOpps.Gov site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the site to assure that they have the most up to date information about this acquisition. The estimated issue date of this solicitation is on or about June 18, 2003.
