Description
General Services Administration is interested in leasing approximately 10,770 Rentable Square Feet of office space which will produce approximately 10,150 ANSI/BOMA Usable Square Feet for Bureau of Customs and Border Protection (formerly U.S. Border Patrol). Approximately 55 parking spaces are required on site. Office and related space will be on one floor. The building will have a sallyport and detention area. GSA will conduct a 2-phase procurement for design/build. In Phase I, interested parties will be required to submit experience and past performance information, and no more than the 5 most highly qualified offerors will be invited to submit design and price proposals in Phase II. For this procurement, the Government has substantial design information which will become part of the SFO. GSA has preselected the site and is in the process of negotiating an assignable site option and performing NEPA studies. The successful offeror will be required to exercise an assignable purchase option after award. Information regarding the site and option terms will be made available to those offerors advancing to Phase II of the procurement. The space is required for up to 20 years with the Government having the right to terminate the lease after 15 years of occupancy. The lease terms must meet OMB scoring rules as an operating lease. Occupancy date will be negotiated, but is anticipated to be 180 days after award. Name, address, email address, and phone number(s) of Interested Developer. This must be submitted in writing no later than June 16, 2003. Submittals requirements for Phase I will be sent to those responding. Expressions of interest should be sent to General Services Administration, INS Customer Service Team (7PT), Room 10A27, 819 Taylor Street, Fort Worth, TX 76102 or via email to the contacts below.
