- Description
- The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, intends to procure on a sole source basis nineteen (19) custom, floor-mount cabinets manufactured by EIC Solutions, Incorporated. Full and open competition is not feasible for this acquisition, as the cabinet being built must replicate the fit and function of the existing tactical units in use by the Taiwan Navy. The cabinet design has previously undergone the necessary shock testing to ensure the units are sea worthy. To maintain fit compatibility and ensure functional capability, it is imperative that only the specified manufacturer provide the components. These items will be acquired using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The closing date is June 5, 2003. Anticipated award date is June 12, 2003. Delivery shall be 30 days. THE GOVERNMENT WILL NOT ISSUE A WRITTEN REQUEST FOR QUOTATION AS ALL ITEMS ARE IDENTIFIED IN THI S NOTICE.
