- Description
- The Bureau of Land Management, Salt Lake City, Utah, has a possible requirement for a 2 temporary holding facilities to quarantine up to 200 head of wild horses as per the specifications. This requirement will be needed if any animals test positive for Equine Infectious Anemia (EIA). This contract will ONLY be awarded in the event of a positive test. Holding facilities must be located at or near to the given trap site locations in the Hill Creek and/or Winter Ridge areas. Facility may be set-up on BLM controlled ground. These animals may be from the Hill Creek Herd Management and/or the Winter Ridge Herd Area of the Vernal Field Office's coverage area. Contractor is to provide feed, water, care and 24 hour/day security. Veterinarian services will be provided under a separate contract. Successful offeror must be prepared to proceed with contract immediately upon notification of need. The North American Industry Classification System Number for this solicitation is 115210.
