- NA Any questions regarding this solicitation should be address to: J. Alex Smith at j.alex.smith@usace.army.mil. The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, Seattle District, has a requirement to dredge up to approximately 5,000 cubic yards at the Quillayute River nav igation channel, LaPush, WA. The Contractor shall be responsible for dredging the mouth of the river with a mechanical dredge and dispose of sediment at the upland area adjacent to the project site. All work shall be completed in accordance with the plans and specifications package. This solicitation will be issued as an Electronic bid set (EBS) on the Seattle District U. S. Army Corps of Engineers Web page in electronic format only. No disk will be mailed. Firms must register via the Internet at the follo wing address: http://www.nws.usace.army.mil/ct/ in order to receive notification of solicitation/amendment posting. To be eligible for contract award a firm must be registered in the DoD Central contractor Registration (CCR) database. Register via the CCR Internet site at http://www.ccr.gov or by contracting the DoD Electronic Commerce Information Center at 1-888-227-2423. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 237990 with a size standard of $17 million. If you are a large business and your proposal will exceed $1 million, you will be required to submit a subcontracti ng plan with goals for small, HUBZone, small disadvantaged, small woman-owned, and small veteran-owned concerns. For the purposes of this procurement, a concern is considered a small business if its annual average gross revenue, taken for the last 3 fisca l years, does not exceed $17 million The solicitation will be available for download on or about 08 July 2003.
