Description

NA Red River Army Depot intends to issue a commercial item request for quote resulting in a requirements type contract for Strip Stock Rubber, FOB Destination, Texarkana, TX 705507-5000. Rubber will be acquired in six different configurations in both master batch and individual strip stock sizes. Rubber shall conform to properties of MIL-T-11891E(AT)and MIL-DTL-3100H. Material will be produced in accordance with a compound formulation requiring the signing of non-disclosure agreement. Suppliers will submit samples for RRAD first article testing (FAT). Testing will consist of physical properties, TGA, and adhesion tests on a pad insert, track shoe and roadwheel. Firms interested in receiving this request for quote may download it from the RRAD website at ww w.redriver.army.mil under the TACOM Red River Procurement Network tab. The request for quote should be available for download on or about 10 June 03. Firms downloading the request for quote should notify William Horton @redriver.army.mil to ensure notific ation if amendmendments if required.
